Diving Center
The Diving Center is opened all the year, daily from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, during this time you will always find somebody who is competent to help you and to answer your questions.
Boats
Our Diving Center has several modern spacious boats at its disposal, anchored directly “in front of the door”. All of them have the necessary rescue equipment, Oxygen, Medic First Aid Box and of course modern navigation and communication accessories on board.
The crews, used to working together since years ensure with their helpfulness a relaxed atmosphere. The excellent lunch completes a lovely diving day.
Equipment
The Tauchen unter Freunden Diving Center can offer 30 complete equipments in all sizes for rent.
This equipment is always up to date and checked regularly.
Guest Equipment Room
Your own equipment you can store in a spacious, good ventilated drying room, which is locked and guarded during the night.
For rinsing your equipment you find two pools at the center, one of them only for regulators and cameras.
Compressors
2 compressors (Bauer KA 14, 350l/min and Bauer KA 15, 400l/min capacity) as well as a highly efficient Nitrox System are responsible for the good quality of the air we breathe.
150 Alu- and Steel tanks (12l, 15l, 8l) with DIN valves are available, certainly they are also serviced and tested regularly.
School Room
To support the diving education we have in our school room a TV, DVD- and Video player, as well as comprehensive training materials.
Medic First Aid
In our medicine cupboards you will find everything to treat simple injuries and diseases. For more serious cases the doctor of Le Pacha Resort is always reachable and the Nile Hospital is only 5 km away.
Environmental Protection & Safety
For us the protection and conservation of the Red Sea is essential, accordingly we support the local environment organizations.
Of course all our boats are equipped with Oxygen and Medic First Aid Boxes as well as mobile phones and radio.
We cooperate with “Hypermed“, the new decompression chamber in Hurghada, which is managed by very experienced doctors and organized in an excellent standard. www.hypermed.org
Also we are member of “Life Boat Medevac”, this organization is operating since 2003 to rescue people in case of emergency. With their speed boats they can ensure a fast and safe transport to the shore.
